Always reviewed by humans

AI alerts should always be reviewed by a human caregiver or appropriate professional.

Not a diagnosis

AI alerts should not be treated as diagnosis or clinical advice.

The AI Companion can make mistakes

The Companion answers from the information recorded in your account and is built to decline medical questions — but like every AI assistant it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. For anything medical speak to your GP, a pharmacist or NHS 111, and in an emergency always call 999.

The photo check is a suggestion, not identification

The medication photo check compares appearance against your own reference photos. It can be wrong and cannot tell apart similar-looking medications. Always check the label before taking anything, and ask your pharmacist or Care Circle if unsure.

No harmful automated decisions

The platform will not make fully automated harmful decisions without human review.
